   What is a 404 page?
-------------------

A 404 page appears when a visitor tries to access a webpage that doesn't exist. This can happen if:

- The URL was typed incorrectly.
- The page was moved without a redirect being set up.
- The page was deleted.

The number "404" is a standard HTTP status code indicating that the requested resource could not be found.

What visitors see
-----------------

When a user accesses a page or URL that returns a 404 error, they are redirected to a page displaying the message: *"The requested page could not be found."*
